Genius of Women

Genius of Women is a variety show featuring students from across the University, who come together to celebrate the dignity and gifts of women. The phrase "genius of women" was coined by Pope John Paul II in his "Letter to Women," which is one of the inspirations for this event. Both women and men perform acts that go along with the theme, including songs, music, dance, poetry, and readings. There is also artwork on display and a silent art auction of of a piece by a KU student. Admission is free and open to the public, but donations will be accepted to fund Lawrence Family Promise, an organization which helps local homeless.
